Neonatal Staff Nurse - Bank
Walsall HealthCare NHS Trust is one of the busiest Units in the West Midlands. Our Maternity Unit currently delivers over 3300 women per year. A position has arisen within our dedicated team for a Neonatal Nurse. We are a designated Local Neonatal Unit (LNU) within the busy West Midlands Neonatal Operational Delivery Network and actively participate in Network groups and business.
We are passionate about maintaining our high-quality nursing care and would like to recruit high calibre, dynamic, motivated and compassionate nurses to join our team.
Our Neonatal unit has 15 cots, which includes 2 intensive cots, 2 high dependency cots, and 11 special care cots. As a designated LNU (Level 2), we provide excellent care for preterm babies from 28 weeks’ gestation and for sick newborn babies, including stabilisation for babies born at lower gestations prior to transfer to NICU.
We are committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our babies and their families. You will need to be RNC/RN qualified, with the commitment and enthusiasm for working within this field. You will be joining a team who work a variety of shifts, including internal rotation to night duty. Opportunities exist for personal development, and staff are supported to undertake additional training as required.
You will be joining an enthusiastic, friendly, and motivated multidisciplinary team working within a centre of excellence for neonatal care. These are highly challenging and rewarding roles within our exciting service.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have experience of working within a Neo-Natal Unit as a registrant.
We would love to hear from you, and if successful, you can help support Neo-Natal care at Walsall Manor Hospital.
