Hybrid working - 1 day working from home per week
Union and absence management experience is required for this role as well as being a CIPD certified candidate.
The role:
* Responsible for delivering a high-quality professional HR service to all on-site.
* Support Trade Union engagement and building effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Key customer engagement on people's agenda
* Advise, support, and guide Managers in investigations, conduct related disciplinary, appeals, and all family-friendly procedures
* Management of absence cases
* Deliver excellence by supporting the recruitment process from start to finish including assisting and coaching Managers throughout the process.
* Produce/assist in producing HR Statistics and KPIs on a weekly/monthly basis
* Produce and maintain accurate reports and records for all HR issues.
* Support payroll process as required
* Contribute towards the improvement of processes and methods of operating practices within the site to benefit our customers
* Involvement with promoting Employee Engagement & Wellbeing initiatives
