Main areas of responsibility:
* Daily cash management including investments between operating bank accounts, this includes daily monitoring of accounts.
* Reconciling the payroll, supporting HR and resolving any queries or errors
* Monitor cash flow, suggest investment projections for up to 3 months
* Work alongside the Deputy Director of Finance
* Manage the Accounts Payable team, verifying suppliers, invoice entry, order matching, allocation
* Actively improving KPI’s within the business
* Essential role in the end of year accounts process including liaising with external and internal auditors
* Positively contribute to a safe working environment ensuring compliance in all areas
* Collaborate with department Managers to oversee and make certain finance systems are being used correctly and efficiently.
Required Skills & Desired Experience:
* Understanding of payroll, deductions and PAYE
* Experience in a similar managerial role
* Able to liaise with all level members of staff
* Accounting qualification
