Role: Pharmacy Technician Banding : Band 5 Location: Birmingham Start Date: ASAP Rate: £19 - £22 per hour Working hours : Full time The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced acute environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical advice to patients and healthcare professionals. Manage and maintain accurate patient records. Assist in the preparation of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Participate in the training and development of junior staff. Qualifications and Experience: Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician. Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience. Previous experience with JAC EPMA is desirable but not essential. Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
