We are partnered with a leading UK firm to recruit a Professional Support Lawyer to join their renowned HR services team, providing fixed fee employment law services to clients across multiple industries, inclding some of the UK’s biggest employers.
About the Role:
As a key member of the team, you will be at the forefront of delivering expert legal support to a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, utilities, and more.
Your role will include:
* Updating & Maintaining Legal Resources – Ensure clients have access to accurate, up-to-date employment law info that resonates with them (you will spend time understanding how to tailor messages to different audiences)
* Creating Tools & Training – Develop client-facing tools and training programs to enhance service delivery (be innovative in your approach to training and materials)
* Staying Ahead of Trends – Proactively address legal issues by staying informed on the latest employment law developments (constantly horizon mapping)
* Collaboration & Efficiency – Work with the team to improve efficiency and leverage new technologies
* Client-Facing Support – Write guidance notes, precedents, and provide practical advice to lawyers and clients alike
* Training & Legal Work – Deliver training sessions and achieve modest financial targets through legal work.
Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate for this will have:
* Proven experience as an Employment lawyer with a strong legal background
* Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills
* The ability to present, train, and explain legal concepts to both colleagues and clients
* A pragmatic, commercial approach to problem-solving
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset.
