This role will see you take full responsibility for honing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives, that will support the business in their overall goals and aspirations. As the HR Manager for this vibrant, pioneering team you will oversee all the day to day aspects that you would expect within the HR function, with a keen focus on ensuring the business upholds a second to none applicant attraction strategy to bring on board, retain and develop top talent needed to push the business forward. This will involve all the usual responsibilities you would expect as a HR Manager including encouraging an exceptional workplace culture, providing employee support as and when needed whether that be to support with any grievances or concerns or improve employee engagement to improve morale and productivity, develop and implement a staff appraisal system, provide support with performance management & employee development, identify and arrange training programs, ensure business and employee compliance with all current regulations and laws, conduct regular audits, review company benefits and rewards, deliver and report back on HR performance metrics to the business, and review HR technology systems. Working from their Head Office in Peterlee, you be fully immersed in the heart of the company, which will enable you to develop strong relationships with all areas of the business and become an integral and valuable member of the team ABOUT YOU: Essentials: Qualified to CIPD Level 5 as a minimum OR a minimum of 5 years experience at HR Manager level. Having worked for a fast-paced, growing, start up business would be highly advantageous. Demonstrate in depth knowledge of HR Best Practices, Employment Laws and Regulations. Natural rapport builder and excellent communication skills. Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives. High level problem-solving and decision-making skills. Working knowledge of HRIS & other HR software Within commutable distance to Peterlee head office.
