We are looking to recruit a Shift Manager at our Grangemill site to effectively manage the production shift to ensure the management of the production plan is executed to the highest standards always including a safe and secure working environment.
Employment type: Full Time, Permanent 40 hours per week
Probation: 6 months
Salary: up to £45,000
Responsibilities:
* Optimising the plant performance and ensuring efficiencies are delivered and improved where possible.
* Deal with out of hours delivery queries
* Ensure that all Health, safety and environmental rules and systems are adhered to.
* Carry out risk assessments and the identification of hazards to help develop safe operating procedures, this includes training staff in those procedures.
* Carry out analysis, identify root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions.
* Liaise with the Engineering department to ensure that all engineering tasks and PPM requests are actioned.
* Communicate daily with the Production Manager in relation to any changes to any changes and identifying any problems and solutions.
* Report production onto system
* Answer any out of hours telephone calls regarding any issues as part of an on-call rota system.
* All paperwork is completed correctly.
