1. Book new and follow-up appointments according to the Patient Access policy ensuring that all appointments are made using Direct and Partial booking systems and within waiting time targets.
2. Ability to understand reports and interpret to ensure appointments are booked correctly, appropriately and recognising capacity requirements.
3. Record patients on the patient administration system according to data quality standards and the Patient Access Policy.
4. Understanding of RTT and FDS, ensuring pathways are followed and completed.
5. To act as a point of contact for dealing with enquiries and take action as necessary liaising and effectively communicating at al levels using written, oral and electronic methods.

• Support team members. This will require undertaking appropriate staff training and development as required, providing cross-cover on a reciprocal basis in the absence of colleagues and providing day to day supervision where required.
