Using your organisational skills, we are looking for a forward thinking individual who work well together in a small team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, managing over 400 holiday lets with our Housekeeping provisions across the Lake District. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, service-driven individual to join our close-knit Laundry team, offering fantastic company benefits and a great culture and working environment Your Responsibilities Reporting into our Local Lead Supplier - Housekeeping our newest Laundry Operative will become a key player within our Housekeeping team, responsible for: Progressing the day-to-day operation of the Property Services Housekeeping function, building an essential rapport with our suppliers, progressing guest complaints, assisting with any issues at a property, checking properties and spot-checking suppliers. The count of freshly laundered linen delivery onto the shelf, recording shortfalls and rejects. Linen preparation for the weekly departures of all agency managed properties into individual property packs. Managing stock levels, advising when auxiliary items need ordering and replenishing with plenty of time. Managing the soiled linen as it's returned, ensuring the area is tidy, before it's collected by the Laundry. With use of a fleet vehicle; going out and checking agency managed properties that have been vacant for 5 days or more, pre-arrival checks or when special attention is required. Spot checking suppliers to see that the standards are still being met, and celebrating successes whilst driving direction and improvement, to ensuring we hit the NPS targets. Working with suppliers over telephone, email, WhatsApp or face to face on a daily basis to ensure changeovers are completed as expected. Providing practical information and feedback to the Local Supplier Lead to promote performance of the department. Any other duties that are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by your line manager.
