We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our leadership team as an Associate Assistant Headteacher and upper key stage two class teacher from 1st September 2025. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with senior leaders to drive improvements in teaching and learning, utilising trust-wide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and strategies, and lead by example to others that you coach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies across the school.
2. Engage with and support the implementation of trust-wide CPL initiatives, ensuring they are tailored to the needs of our school and staff.
3. Monitor and evaluate the impact of teaching and learning, providing feedback and support to teachers.
4. Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes within the school.
5. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among the teaching staff.
In an Associate Assistant Headteacher, we are looking for someone with a proven track record in excellent classroom practice, who:
1. is an outstanding practitioner with experience of teaching upper key stage two,
2. has strong subject knowledge of the primary National Curriculum,
3. has high expectations for all pupil’s attainment, achievement and behaviour,
4. has proven impact of leading a whole school area from Nursery to Year 6,
5. has experience of working collaboratively with colleagues to support their professional development,
6. has experience of analysing data and assessment for target setting in a specific area,
7. has experience using monitoring and triangulation to review the quality of education and personal development,
8. has experience of networking with all stakeholders in a led area.

Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend an interview on 21st March. As this is for a Senior Leadership role, candidates who do not visit the school will not be shortlisted.
