Role Summary To be responsible for supporting the IT project management team in the delivery of IT projects to Town and Country Housing, working closely with technical and business stakeholders .Produce timely and effective business and technical analysis documentation to support the delivery of IT projects .Work with project teams to establish testing and training requirements, in order to support the delivery and adoption of IT projects. Role Specific Responsibilities Challenge current working practices, exercising creativity and innovation to resolve business issues, and enhance cross-team working. Analyse and evaluate the current use of systems and data and determine how business processes could be improved or automated, leveraging the existing software and infrastructure. Develop a sound knowledge of the relevant business areas and the effect of any requested or required changes, including software functionality releases. Analyse and evaluate customer activities, existing processes, business requirements and current use of technology to determine alternative business solutions and/or process re-engineering opportunities making full use of available technology. Work with the IT development team to understand any technical requirements and constraints, including the architectural landscape. Liaise with business managers and users to understand, document and prioritise business requirements across affected business areas. Liaise with IT subject matter experts to understand, document and prioritise any non-functional and technical requirements for projects. Identify improvements in systems technology and work with business groups to implement any changes. Where required, create and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of any system introduced or enhanced as part of a project. This includes the production and coordination of test plans and scripts. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, evaluate and recommend technology enabled solutions that demonstrate value to the organisation and meet the agreed project scope. In conjunction with the IT Project Managers, establish an approach for testing the project deliverables, ensuring alignment with the identified requirements, using established templates where available. Support testing activities (system, integration and user acceptance) for projects, including liaison with the development teams and tracking of identified issues against delivered requirements. Support the delivery of new or improved IT systems, by offering training and supporting resources to all staff. Support IT and business teams in the delivery of generic IT training to users. Support successful project closure including the handover of technical solutions to the front-line support teams, ensuring a full knowledge transfer is enabled. Ensure that project documentation is available for support reference. Educate stakeholders in the IT Project Delivery Framework and advising on best practice. Education & Qualifications A-Level or equivalent education. A professional Business Analysis qualification. Proof of continuous professional development Ability to drive and use a car for business purposes is desirable. Key Skills & Competencies Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes. Demonstrable experience of systems improvement and process re-engineering. Experience of M365 and power platform technologies, and an understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem. Experience of facilitating team working. Experience in the delivery of systems training and supporting resources. End to end experience of the project lifecycle. Proven experience interacting directly with business users at all levels.
