About the Role:

Main Responsibilities:
As a Microbiologist, your role will encompass a wide range of vital responsibilities that ensure the utmost control and quality of materials throughout our Plant. You will conduct meticulous chemical, physical, toxicological and microbiological sampling and analysis of raw materials and semi-finished goods. With precision and timelines, you will provide crucial insights, offering early warnings on any anomalies that may arise.
You will also be an integral part of our research and development projects, where you will drive innovation, improvements, and product control.
In accordance with our rigorous quality standards, you will skilfully prepare samples through meticulous weighing, dilution, plate reading, Ring tests and adherence to established protocols. Drawing upon your mastery of classic microbiology, you will have the understanding and knowledge to handle pathogenic organisms and contribute to the development and refinement of methods, serving as a key pillar in supporting the Group’s scientific endeavours.
Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of comprehensive methodologies and perform audits to ensure their correct implementation. Through data analysis, interpretation, and the utilisation of IT systems, you will uncover valuable insights that drive continuous improvement and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
Your dedication extends beyond the laboratory. You will actively participate in stock control, equipment calibration, quality control, and adherence to accident prevention regulations. By executing central methods and embracing best practices, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and excellence of our operations.
Who we are looking for:
Embark on an opportunity tailor-made for a passionate scientist with a Microbiological degree or a similar scientific background.
In this role, your expertise in a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) System will be instrumental. As a skilled practitioner of classical microbiology techniques, you will possess an extensive knowledge of methodologies, equipment, and supplies that form the backbone of our scientific endeavours.
Your proficiency in food testing, food microbiology, and food safety will be highly valued as you contribute to the meticulous analysis and control of our products.
