Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our field staff. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in office software, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Duties
* Create and schedule jobs, ensuring efficient deployment of Water Hygiene Engineers
* Monitor job progress and resolve scheduling conflicts in a timely manner
* Maintain clear communication with engineers, providing updates and necessary information
* Book work with clients, confirming schedules and addressing any concerns
* Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate personnel
* Review laboratory reports and liaise with the Technical Team to interpret results
* Communicate findings to clients when required, ensuring clarity and professionalism
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records through efficient data entry and clerical tasks
* Ensure all information is organised and easily accessible for reporting and compliance purposes
* Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation for internal and client use
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure reports are clear, accurate, and delivered on time
* Provide general administrative support to the team, including filing, document management, and correspondence
* Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required to support the business
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is highly desirable.
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong clerical skills.
* Familiarity with general office procedures and practices is an advantage.
