Duties
1. Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
2. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
3. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock.
4. Implement and uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
5. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment.
6. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
7. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
8. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role with strong cooking skills.
2. Knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen management practices.
3. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervision.
4. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
