Key Responsibilities: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates. Perform take-offs and pricing for structural and architectural steelwork projects. Develop detailed tenders and bids, ensuring competitive and realistic pricing. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain necessary information for estimates. Identify and assess potential project risks, proposing solutions to mitigate them. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, market trends, and pricing. Work closely with the project management and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Attend client meetings and site visits when required to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements. Requirements: Proven experience as an Estimator in the structural and architectural steelwork industry. Strong ability to work independently, managing your own workload and deadlines. Expertise in take-offs, pricing, and preparing tenders for steelwork projects. Experience in nuclear, MOD, ducting, or green/renewable energy sectors is highly advantageous.
