As our Senior Regional Buyer, you'll be at the heart of our FM procurement strategy, with a laser focus on FM Services. Your role will be to develop, manage and communicate the Regional Procurement Strategy across FM categories with annual procurement spend of c.£200m. What you’ll do: Lead a team of Region Buyers to drive efficiency in the FM supply chain at site level and commercial competitiveness for the UK&I region through end-to-end procurement processes Work closely with Head of FM Procurement & Senior Category Manager to implement sourcing strategies for FM Services, to support the operational business, meet business objectives and achieve financial targets Align the objectives of Regional Procurement with Global Supply Management, Category Management & FM Platform strategies Build and maintain strategic relationships with supply partners and key stakeholders across Supply Management, Tech & Services Platforms, and Operating Segments Right size the supply chain across FM categories to ensure it is optimized for the UK&I region, and drive compliance to Supply Management negotiated deals. Lead the management and execution of work orders for project-related activity in collaboration with segment and platform stakeholders. Oversee the reporting of financial benefit of in-scope procurement activity delivered to Supply Management Finance team. What you bring: Experience in leading teams in a buying / category management environment (5/7 years) Ability to work efficiently in a multi-cultural and matrix environment Experience in developing and implementing procurement / category strategies. Proven track record in complex contract negotiations Strong presentation skills both verbally and written. Graduate calibre with CIPS/ISM or equivalent qualification Flexible for national and international travel where necessary FM - additional Experience of Pharma, Health, or Public Sector FM Operations Experience in FM sub-categories e.g. Lifts, Fire and Security, Water treatment, electrical wholesalers Experience of managing sub-contractors across Hard and Soft FM Services Knowledge of Construction and Civils ‘project’ works procurement methodologies What we offer: Competitive Salary Annual Bonus Excellent benefits package Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
