As the Curriculum Lead for Mathematics with DN Colleges, you will provide cross-college leadership, driving the development and growth of Maths qualifications, including Functional Skills and GCSEs. You will manage a team of dedicated Maths teachers, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead the development and growth of Maths provision for young people and adults.
* Manage and support Maths team leaders and teachers, ensuring effective performance.
* Improve retention, attendance, and outcomes for Maths learners.
* Enhance the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment across the Maths provision.
* Prepare for Ofsted inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Collaborate with external stakeholders to support student work experience and progression.
* Undertake teaching, assessment, and academic support duties as required.
What we're looking for:
* Graduate qualification in a relevant discipline and/or Level 4 qualification.
* Management qualification or willingness to work towards one.
* Teaching qualification with experience teaching in an FE environment.
* Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Experience in programme management and managing human and physical resources.
* Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and a respectful culture.
* Postgraduate qualification and professional memberships.
* Experience of leading curriculum development and quality assurance processes is desirable.
