As our Clinical Leader, you will:
* Lead and organize the Clinical/ Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre
* Lead smooth running of the theatre list and organizing booking forms.
* Extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment.
* You will be required to do the Rota
* You will be required to work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department which include Endoscopy, General, Orthopaedics, Gynae
* The role will include assisting sessions in theatres
To succeed as a Clinical Leader you will need:
* Minimum of 5 years post registration in surgery/anaesthetics experience.
* Knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment is also essential.
* Good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Must be NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner.
* Must be clinically excellent, be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities, which includes leading a team to a shared vision and being able to promote innovation and sustainability.

Our purpose-built hospital has been established since 1968. With 40 en-suite bedrooms, a busy outpatients and pre-assessment departments. We also provide a diagnostic imaging service (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and X-ray), pathology, paediatric unit, surgical recovery ward, cancer care unit, 3 state of the art operating theatres (2 laminar flow) and physiotherapy services.
We cover a wide variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynae, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology and ENT.
Our highly trained staff, led by our director of clinical services, provide care on an individual basis to encourage a speedy recovery and wellbeing.
