About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate Senior Caregiver to deliver high-quality care and support to residents in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving the well-being and quality of life for elderly individuals through personalized care and assistance.
Main Duties
1. Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to residents’ needs
2. Do medication rounds and ensure adherence
3. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
4. Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
5. Maintain accurate records and reports
6. Demonstrate leadership qualities in guiding junior caregivers
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in senior care or a similar role
2. Proficiency in using IT systems for record-keeping purposes
3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
4. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Willingness to work in a care home environment
