Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Physiotherapist's to develop their musculoskeletal skills within Tyneside Integrated Musculoskeletal Service (TIMS) working in clinical settings across Gateshead and Newcastle.
The successful applicants will be expected to work as part of a team providing physiotherapy care within TIMS. They will undertake a high standard of physiotherapy and manage a clinical caseload of patients referred into the service via a single point of access. Management will include supporting patients through a shared decision making process and supporting patient self-management.
This rotational posts will allow the applicants to gain experience across the various musculoskeletal clinical pathways in both community based and hospital settings.
If you have excellent communication skills, understand the importance of person-centred care and have a desire to develop your knowledge and skills in the musculoskeletal physiotherapy then this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Main duties of the job
* Manage your own caseload of patients including those with diverse presentations referred into TIMS.
* Develop your own skills in the management of musculoskeletal conditions within our musculoskeletal rotations in upper limb, lower limb, spinal and persistent pain specialties.
* Contribute to the development of others through supervision and as student clinical educator.

* Member of Chartered Society Of Physiotherapists
