The Role: Data Protection Business Partner (Flexible location, UK wide)
PIB Group is seeking a Data Protection Business Partner to join our team. Reporting directly to the Group Data Protection Manager, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure our data protection and compliance policies are current and effective.
This role involves supporting integration efforts, managing projects across PIB Group businesses, and ensuring compliance with data protection legislation including the Data Protection Act 2018, UK and EU GDPR, among others. Travel and onsite presence are required, with flexible location options.
Responsibilities
* Deliver projects to implement data protection, records management, and information security effectively.
* Maintain and revise policies to demonstrate compliance with data protection requirements.
* Advise and support Champions and colleagues across the Group.
* Conduct reviews of business units for compliance, documenting findings and reporting risks.
* Identify systems and sub-processors, create process maps, and build a processing register.
* Provide guidance on data protection and record management issues.
