Job Overview:
In this data analyst role, you will be pivotal in managing and maintaining a suite of existing reports and datasets. Alongside this, you will be developing new reports and dashboards to deliver meaningful business intelligence for management information, reporting, and operational purposes to assist in the execution of business strategy. The successful candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders across all business functions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all reporting duties.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business requirements into meaningful and accurate reporting solutions through:
1. Integration of data from various sources into PowerBI
2. Developing new and existing data models
3. Ensuring data integrity and accuracy through stress tests against verified sources
4. Design, develop and deploy new reports and dashboards for various business areas into informative solutions
2. Report management and maintenance:
1. Maintain and update existing PowerBI reports and dashboards
2. Ensure data integrity and accuracy within reports
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report performance and data discrepancies with the relevant product owners
4. Ensure continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools
5. Develop and implement data cleaning and transformation processes
Knowledge and Experience:
1. Proficient in PowerBI
2. Proven experience in analysing large data sets, identifying relationships, and building data models
3. Proven experience in data extraction, integration, manipulation, and warehousing of databases
4. Understanding of APIs and customer connectors
5. Detail-oriented
6. Strong communication skills – ability to report data insights to non-technical stakeholders
7. Microsoft PowerBI certification is desirable
8. Experience working with SQL servers is desirable
