We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Fromus Veterinary Group.
Location: Fromus (Saxmundham), Castle (Framlingham) and Eagle (Halesworth) Veterinary Practices
The role will predominantly be at Fromus in Saxmundham but there will be requirement to move around the sites as required.
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Flexible

About the role:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
2. Answering phones and booking appointments
3. Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
4. Registering new clients
5. Dispensing medications
6. Taking payments
7. Ensure that deliveries and dispatches are processed correctly.
8. Performing administrative tasks such as insurance claim processing, debt processing and daily cash reconciliation.
9. Ensure that all documentation is processed as per practice protocol and in a prompt and efficient manner.
10. Proactively take action to ensure the debt position within the Practice is controlled and that Debt Recovery Protocols are being followed in order to achieve target including Debt Tagging and the managing of unallocated payments.
11. And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist/administrator:
12. Previous Receptionist and administration experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
13. Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
14. An excellent communicator with strong empathy
15. Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
16. A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
17. Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages
