New Job: Head of Community
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for creating holistic, impactful services to address homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse? A leading charity in Southend-on-Sea is expanding its community services, and we are recruiting an experienced senior leader to spearhead this transformative work.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing a comprehensive service model from the ground up, including the development of a recovery college, social prescribing initiatives, and employment pathways. This is a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change and make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. Your strategic leadership will be essential in developing sustainable funding streams and fostering innovation, ensuring that services evolve to meet the changing needs of the community.
Benefits:
1. Hours of work: 37hrs - 9am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement a community-focused service model, including recovery and employment initiatives.
2. Develop a recovery college, social prescribing pathways, and other holistic services to support individuals facing multiple challenges.
3. Drive innovation within services to ensure adaptability and responsiveness to community needs.
4. Create and sustain funding streams to support program expansion and sustainability.
5. Lead and inspire a team dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey to recovery and independence.
About You:
