Now we are looking for a Director of Commercial Finance to join the team in Luton. ABOUT THE ROLE: Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of Commercial Finance is a key leadership role providing commercial and operational direction to the business while acting as a key influencer in strategic and planning decisions to support OAG’s growth strategy. Acting as a strong business partner, supporting commercial and operational value creation and decision-making across the organisation Playing a significant role in business conversations to help drive the growth agenda, providing a key contribution to the ongoing development of the strategic plan Managing and overseeing all financial controlling, commercial management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, providing full analysis and insight of key business drivers, risk and opportunities Leading role across M&A activity including financial management of the full cycle (pre-acquisition due diligence, investment case, post-acquisition integration and reporting) Delivering improved management information and insight to the business including developing new reports and analysis as appropriate YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Working with Senior Management to develop business plans and analysis relating to the assessment and viability of potential organic and inorganic opportunities (i.e. NPD and M&A activities) Analysing new and existing business initiatives, challenging assumptions and highlighting any risks and opportunities Leading the planning and rolling forecasting activities globally, including the annual budget and three year plans with clear outputs that articulate principal drivers and assumptions Developing and optimising business critical metrics, optimising core SaaS metrics, and improving the consistency and depth of sales and financial reporting and performance analysis Defining, communicating and tracking key performance indicators and producing management dashboards which support all areas of the business Inputting into pricing analysis regarding all pricing decisions relating to both existing and new product launches Managing monthly financial, cash flow and capex forecasting routines and reporting Preparing and presentation of the monthly reporting pack and performance reporting on a comprehensive set of financial and KPI metrics providing key business insight and analytics Working in collaboration with the Regional Controllers to ensure accurate financial reporting Consolidating performance measures at the group level with sub analysis to show performance by product type and key drivers Providing appropriate challenge across all operational forecast assumptions, including volumes, churn, pricing and base movements Supporting and influencing the business to make optimal investment and trade-off decisions to maximise revenue growth by providing insightful analysis and recommendations Challenging and supporting capital investment requests including the monitoring, tracking and reporting of software capitalisation and R&D qualifying activities IF YOU HAVE: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent) with a Bachelor's Degree Strong accounting experience necessary, with a detailed knowledge of P&L, Cash Flow and Capex reporting and metrics, in addition to excellent operational and commercial expertise.
