What we are looking for We are currently seeking a Marketing Campaigns Executive to join our creative and vibrant Marketing team, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire. As the Marketing Campaigns Executive, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of marketing campaigns to support the business. From driving ticket and experience sales for world class racing events including the renowned Royal Ascot meeting, to driving venue hire for private events – this role has a bit of everything. We are looking for someone with great enthusiasm and attention-to-detail, wanting to elevate their marketing experience, who understands the importance of data but is also an innovative thinker and able to plan and deliver campaigns and communications that will engage the right audience. Alongside this, you will also have the opportunity to work on key projects including guest experience activations, website development, content and creative briefs, as well as data, ticketing and digital transformation. What you’ll be doing Support the delivery of marketing communications and media across B2C, B2B and HNWI to deliver sales across flagship racedays including Royal Ascot Plan and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns for selected racedays and commercial products throughout the year working closely with our agencies and internal teams Build and deliver impactful and informative e-mail communications to our audiences Write copy and tailor communications across all customer touchpoints, including website and apps, to help position our racedays and products Work with content and production teams to create assets that will engage our audiences and ensure the Ascot brand, and our products are effectively positioned through our channels Manage relationships and media planning with local media partners Measure success through effective reporting and share key insights with the wider team Work closely and provide effective communication channels with other teams throughout the business to support sales, memberships, events and community campaigns Act as a brand guardian to ensure consistency across communications and collateral Work racedays to support the wider department with audience engagement and content curation Skills and experience you can bring Previous experience working in a consumer marketing role or a marketing related degree Exceptional communication and organisational skills with the ability to take on projects from brief to delivery A willingness to learn and develop Great attention to detail with copywriting and proofing skills A pro-active worker, self-starter and good team player A keen interest in consumer brands and sport, keeping up with current trends and always looking for the ‘what else?’ Experience working with CMS and CRM systems would be desirable, but not essential Working knowledge of and an interest in horse racing or sport is desirable, but not essential What you can expect from us A best-in-class welcome with a tailored induction and racecourse tour, as well as a wide range of training schemes to help with your learning and development Access to a range of wellbeing support for yourself and your family including a dedicated Employee Assistance Programme and Healthcare support app with 24/7 virtual GP access Opportunity to make an impact in our Volunteer week with a day out of the office to support local community and charity partners End of year offices closed (extra 2 days annual leave added to your entitlement) Time Off in Lieu (toil) for working weekend race days Clothing and hat hire Complimentary race day entry for friends and family Exclusive discounts in local shops and cafes Exclusive discounts from selected partner brands and suppliers And let’s not forget, invitations to our monthly social nights as well as annual parties and afternoon teas to celebrate our most special occasions throughout the year.
