Lecturer in Art & Design - The Role:

Lecturer in Art & Design - Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver outstanding teaching and assessment in Art & Design.
* Develop and prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment strategies to ensure students achieve their fullest potential.
* Contribute to students' holistic development, addressing their academic and pastoral needs.
* Collaborate with local employers and engage in community programs to enhance the curriculum and student experience.
You will also be instrumental in ensuring that our teaching practices and resources are outstanding, directly impacting student retention, attendance, success rates, progression, final grades, and overall value added.
Lecturer in Art & Design- You:
We are looking for a candidate who brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the role:
* Educational Background: A degree in Art & Design, preferably Fine Art with Digital expertise but all expertise welcome.
* Industry Experience: Substantial, practical experience in the Art and Design field.
* Teaching Credentials: Experience teaching in Further Education (FE), preferably with a Level 3/4 Foundation Diploma and Level 3 Art & Design programmes. A teaching qualification is desirable, but we are also open to those willing to work towards one.
* Artistic Practice: A practising artist who is passionate about their craft and eager to inspire the next generation of artists.
