My Client is a leading provider of integrated avionics,engines, systems and service solutions for aircraft manufacturers,airlines, business and general aviation, military space and airportoperations. The Aerospace Yeovil site includes Integrated SupplyChain operations and Engineering & Technology as well as othersupport functions. It specialises in several product linesincluding: Environmental Control Systems, Life Support Systems,Hydraulics Systems and Control & DataSystems.
We are currently recruiting for aTemporary Finance Analyst to work on site at their offices inYeovil.
Reporting to the Yeovil ISC FinanceLead, the Yeovil ISC Finance Analyst will assist inthe
development of a strategic business partnership withthe Yeovil ISC Site Leadership Team.
This rolewill work with the Yeovil ISC Finance Lead to improve productmargins through
constant review and analysis of potentialcost reduction initiatives covering both the
manufacturingand procurement environment.
The role will work with theISC Finance Lead to achieve alignment across site functionsincluding Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering, HR and the businessin the achievement of targets and goals. It will provide data andanalyses that will assist in the drive to reduce site inventory andworking capital improvements, by working with SIOP, Logistics andProcurement.
The role will support theimplementation of a real time data dashboard at the Yeovilsite,
covering key ISCmetrics.
Responsibilities willinclude:-
• To work with theYeovil Site ISC Leadership Team to ensure that annual operatingplans
and forecasts are robust and fully aligned with SiteSIOP process and understood by the
local ISCTeam.
• To investigate and present P&L variances tomonthly financial results as provided by the
supportingRegional Finance Team (RFC).
• Provide value-added supportto the site HOS process, including delegated attendanceat
all daily Tier 3 meetings as required.
• Toassist in the annual standard cost revision exercise,inventory-re-valuation and
standardmaintenance.
• To review and interpret analyses ofoverhead burden, production settlement, purchase
price andscrap variances as prepared by the supporting Regional FinanceTeam
(RFC).
• To provide relevant informationnecessary to support the site SIOP process.
• To presentfunctional cost information as prepared by the supporting RegionalFinance
Team (RFC).
• To implement an operatingsystem that ties and links this information withYeovil
ISC business routines including the site costcouncil.
• To work with the Yeovil ISC Finance Lead toestablish an efficient and robust working
operating systemwith the relevant Regional Finance Team(RFC).
The successful Applicantshould have/be able to:-
•Provenexperience and financial skills in analysis, planning, forecastingand accounting.
• Strong communication skills coveringboth document preparation and verbal presentation.
•Excellent analytical skills.
• Results oriented and a selfstarter. Assume ownership and provide staff leadership aswell
as being able to work independently with a remotesupervision structure.
• Build effective workingrelationships across business functions, both locallyand
regionally.
Experience:-
•Professional accounting qualification preferred
• Relevantaccounting / finance experience
• Proven managerialexperience
• Excellent MS Office and other relevant systemskills.
• Knowledge of SAP System(Desired)
