Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods with accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to transport goods safely within the factory.
- Maintain an organised and tidy goods-in area, ensuring stock is stored correctly.
- Perform stock checks and update inventory records as needed.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth operations.
- Undertake training and perform shot blasting tasks when required.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Goods In Operative to join our client's busy engineering factory in Thornliebank. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and hands-on environment, with training provided for shot blasting if required. Valid Counterbalance Forklift License is required., A valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
- Previous experience in a goods-in or warehouse role, ideally within an engineering environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work methodically.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Willingness to learn and undertake training in shot blasting.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
