The Trustees are looking to recruit to the post of Intervention Worker Wellbeing Focus at Hawthorns School.
Salary: NJC scale points 12-17: £27,711 - £30,060 per annum (full time equivalent)
Working hours: 36 hours and 40 minutes per week / Term Time only + 5 days (195 days) Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm.
Hawthorns is delighted to be part of the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust (MAT) having joined in 2018. The Trust is a growing family of schools catering for young people aged 4 to 19 with an EHCP currently in the local authorities of Oldham, Tameside and Rochdale.
The role of Intervention Worker is a new role within our school and so is a very exciting time to join Hawthorns as we settle into our brand-new building, opened in September 2024.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrable evidence of developing and implementing strategies to help children and their wellbeing.
* Experience of working with children and young people to support them in overcoming barriers to their personal, social or learning development.
* Experience of supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs.
This post will be based initially at Hawthorns School in Mottram in Longdendale; however, all staff are employed by the MAT and are expected to work at any site within the New Bridge Group if required.

This post will be subject to a number of pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and proof of right to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996. It will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
