Job Description
1. Lead and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple European markets.
2. Oversee and ensure proper currency hedging, foreign exchange management, and bank loan arrangements for operations in different European countries.
3. Develop and implement financial strategies that drive growth, profitability, and financial stability.
4. Provide financial leadership and strategic insights to senior management, supporting business decisions with data-driven analysis.
5. Manage relationships with financial institutions and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
6. Supervise and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development.
The Successful Applicant
1. Proficiency in English and Mandarin (Putonghua/Chinese).
2. Extensive experience in finance, particularly within the consumer goods industry, with expertise in currency hedging, foreign exchange, and banking loans across multiple European countries.
3. Strong knowledge of European financial regulations, tax laws, and business practices.
4. Proven ability to navigate the complexities of managing finance across different currencies and international markets.
5. European work and living experience is preferred, with the ability to understand both European and Chinese business cultures.
6. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
