The candidate should be honest, fast thinking, driven to succeed and a good people manager, from ideally a forestry or agricultural background. They must have the ability to work independently and as part of a tight knit management team. The position is split 40/60 on site and office based. Very good remuneration for the right person.
The position will involve dealing with grass root contracts, liaising with client managers and our own in house teams; planning and deligation skills will be required, as well as the ability to record accurate data and create online planning documents. You will work alongside the MD, Commercial Director, Office Manager and Site supervisors.
The work will cover the areas of Argyll & Bute and the Inner Hebrides as well as working from our Tarbert office; we do not have an issue with home working when appropriate. There may be rare occasions when nights away from home are required.
Development training will be offered as the role expands and initial travel allowance will be offered, a vehicle will be provided on completion of probation period.
