An opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join the treatment team as a band 5 Treatment Radiographer within the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust's radiotherapy department. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic individual who will fit in quickly with the treatment team.
We have now established our SABR treatment delivery programme and are now using SGRT on our newest linac. We also treat intra-cranial SRS as well as TBI & TLNI and brachytherapy. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge across treatment and pre-treatment pathways and you will be expected to participate in the emergency on-call rota.
We actively support professional development and encourage radiographer led research and QI projects. We support flexible working arrangements and all applicants would be expected to support the working hours of the service and work across sites.
Our equipment portfolio includes five TrueBeam Linacs, Siemens Open go.Pro CT scanner and Xstrahl unit; our Elekta Flexitron Brachytherapy unit is based at Hammersmith Hospital in a dedicated brachytherapy suite. We have switched the majority of our treatment planning system to the Raystation system and we are now in the final stages of implementation of our paperless patient pathways. We are about to embark on an equipment replacement programme for our two oldest linacs so this is an exciting time to join our team.
