SEN Learning Support Assistants – multiple positions

Pay between £400 – £600 per week, dependent on experience.
Are you passionate about providing specialist support and feel confident working with children/pupils who have learning difficulties and specialist education and emotional needs? A teaching/learning support assistant plays an important role in providing support for SEN and SEND pupils. They are invaluable members of the school team, working to ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated special educational needs learning support assistants to join our unique partner school, which is part of a growing Multi Academy Trust, based in the rural Eccleshall area of Staffordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives and education. This role offers immediate start dates and the potential to lead into a long-term position.
What you’ll do:
1. Support pupils aged between 11-19, in small groups or 1:1.
2. Prepare learning materials.
3. Adapt teaching support according to student’s needs.
4. Look after children’s physical, social, and emotional welfare.

To be successful in this role, you should:
1. Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
2. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward helping students achieve their potential.
3. A driving license and access to a vehicle would be beneficial due to rural location.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
5. A DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
