An opportunity has arisen for a Team Administrator to provide support to the Oldham Learning Disability Service. We are a busy multi disciplinary team providing specialist health care to children and adults with learning disabilities who live in Oldham.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to support high quality delivery of our busy service. The successful candidate will be expected to provide a full range of secretarial assistance and administrative support to all team members, including answering telephone calls, inputting and modifying data onto patient records, photocopying, maintaining diaries, arranging meetings and supporting the office manager.
This is a very varied role and you will be required to work flexibly in order to meet the day to day demands. You will need to deal with telephone enquiries efficiently and professionally, providing an appropriate and courteous response, passing on to the relevant colleague or taking messages when required. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent keyboard skills.
As a crucial part of our team, you will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative.
About us
The postholder will be based with the Oldham Community Learning Disability Team at Spindles Shopping Centre. This is a part time position of 25 hours per week.

1. oEvidence of recent further development / training to NVQ3 or equivalent
2. oGCSE in English and Mathematics or equivalent
