Senior Financial Controller -Controller Multi-Site Hospitality Group (Office-Based)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and hand-on Senior Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the company and ensuring strong financial governance.
Experience within a multi-site or multi-unit hospitality environment (ideally restaurant chains) is essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving business. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance and support the companys ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage anddevelop the finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
* Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
* Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies.
* Lead finance-related transformation and improvement projects across the business.
* Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and profitability.
* Manage cash flow, financial risk, and investment strategies.
* Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as necessary.
* Ensure optimal use and integration of Sage 200 and other financial tools.
Key Requirements
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
* Proven experiences working within hospitality restaurants chains with multiple locations and branding.
* A proactive, solutions-focused team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Demonstrated success in delivering finance transformation, system upgrades, or process improvement initiatives.
* Ability to influence and drive financial strategy at an executive level.
Essential Criteria
* Hospitality Sector Expertise: Candidates must have previous experience working in finance roles within hospitality restaurant chains operating across multiple locations and brands. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
* 100% Office-Based: This role is fully office-based. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site full-time to foster collaboration and leadership within the team.
