You will earn £23,152 a year working full time (37 hours a week), or £12 per hour pro rata, as we are a Voluntary Living Wage employer. The Living Wage is reviewed each year and Cardiff Council reserves the right to make changes to, or remove, the Living Wage Supplement.
Our Business & Project Support Team is looking to employ a Corporate Apprentice (Level 3) Business & Project Support at County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, CF10 4UW to contribute to our Service helping us to deliver business & project support to teams across the Adults, Housing & Communities directorate.
This role will involve a mix of home and office (hybrid) working.

In this Corporate Apprentice (Level 3) role you will learn:
* Financial administration on our SAP system
* Recruitment practices by helping managers across the directorate recruit.
* Minute taking
* Key tech skills such as SharePoint and Excel
* Shadowing key project meetings to gain experience and knowledge working in a project management environment
To support your development, you will also undertake a Welsh Government Apprenticeship Framework Qualification in Digital Skills for Business at Level 3 in the role and will receive on-the-job training and supervision to help you deliver an efficient and effective service in a positive and customer-focused manner. You will also be supported by a named mentor who will encourage you to develop a range of transferable skills to support your career progression.
Many of our teams work online with a mix of home or hybrid (office) working. Where homeworking is required, you will be given the necessary equipment and training; however, you will need to arrange your own internet connectivity (support may be available to help with this).
This role will require a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check.
This post is temporary for 24 months if worked full time, or longer if worked part time. Most roles are based on a 37-hour week though many roles can be worked on a part-time basis at a minimum of 16 hours per week for apprentice roles.
