Job description
Turning Passion into Purpose. LSBU’s College of Health and Life Sciences is looking to recruit a Public Health Professional Development Lecturer to join our Public Health Education and Training (PHET) team. The main purpose of the post is to the delivery of the public health education and training offer at LSBU through our programme of CPD masterclasses designed to support Public Health Practitioners seeking registration through the UKPHR.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who has the following skills/experience.
1. Masters level qualification in a relevant discipline (public health, health psychology,health promotion or other appropriate life sciences subject) or equivalent professional qualifications or experience.
2. Understanding of current public health function and the context and priorities for delivery
3. Experience of developing educational resources and teaching public health or related subjects, particularly in an online environment.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with existing publications and Presentations
5. Good self-management skills, ability to organise and work in a methodical manner on own and in a team
