Our client, an established local business operating for over 100 years, is recruiting a brand new role for a Site Accountant/Controller due to company growth.
This role has been created due to the inception of a new division for the company. The accounting to date has been undertaken by the wider group, but due to continued growth, they are now seeking to appoint a dedicated accountant/controller to manage the end-to-end financial obligations for the division and, in the longer term, grow a team underneath.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Taking full responsibility for all management and financial accounting aspects for the division.
2. Business partnering with operational stakeholders and supporting the GM/MD to forecast performance.
3. Reporting to the board on performance to budget, presenting variances, and suggesting improvements.
4. Lead point of contact with the auditors.
5. Supporting and developing financial systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information.
6. Leading and developing a small team (longer term).
7. Liaising with the sister manufacturing company in Germany.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organization primed for further growth and the chance to shape this new division as they expand into new markets.
Ideally, they are seeking a fully qualified Accountant; however, an ambitious candidate with solid experience in manufacturing/engineering will be considered, as study support will be provided if necessary.
They are looking to interview during the week commencing 13th January, so don't miss your chance to work for this hugely successful business with low attrition rates, offering great career prospects and a collaborative working environment.
