Day Rate: £105 - £115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

We need a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Oldbury (B68). This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them develop positive coping strategies and build self-confidence.
Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to students with SEMH needs.
Support students in managing their emotions and behaviour effectively.
Implement tailored strategies to de-escalate challenging situations.
Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Encourage resilience, self-confidence, and positive social interactions among students.
Have experience in behaviour mentoring, SEMH support, or youth work.
Are patient, empathetic, and resilient when managing challenging behaviour.
️ Possess strong communication skills and can build positive relationships with both students and staff.
Are proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to different situations.
Have experience in de-escalation and positive behaviour management strategies (highly desirable).
