We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will have a background working with children in residential settings and will play a key role in providing specialized care and support.
Salary & Benefits:
£34,500 to £36,500 depending on experience.

Role Summary:
The Deputy Manager will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the complex care provision, including deputizing as required. Key responsibilities include assisting in the management and development of the home and supporting staff to deliver excellent quality service for the children in our care.
In the manager’s absence, you will have full responsibility for the running of the home, ensuring a consistently high standard of care in accordance with legislation, government guidance, regulations, and company policies.
Responsibilities:
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in the home by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Lead, exemplify, and evaluate excellent practice within your staff teams.
* Participate in the assessment process of potential new admissions.
* Monitor and revise children’s care and placement plans, ensuring their needs are met.
* Ensure the effectiveness of staff through regular support, supervision, and development opportunities.
* Coach, train, and mentor staff to deliver best practice.
* Maintain professional boundaries with all children, staff, visitors, and families.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a senior support worker within a registered children’s home setting
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
* Understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to ensure compliance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £34,500.00-£36,500.00 per year

* 12 hour shift
* Day shift
* Night shift
* Weekend availability
