Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Programme Planner to join our Highways, Transport & Design service here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
This is an exciting time for transport in Stockton-on-Tees, and the wider Tees Valley. At Stockton, we are working in partnership with Tees Valley Combined Authority and other partners to deliver a programme of transport schemes which will enable residents and visitors to travel more sustainably to, and within, the borough.
The successful candidate will assist and where appropriate lead in the development and delivery of a portfolio of transport projects. As Programme Planner you will be specifically responsible for the client role and programme management of exciting transport projects such as and .

We are keen to hear from individuals with the following:
1. Experience of successful project / programme management and experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams.
2. Experience of working in or with public sector organisations.
3. Effective budget and financial planning skills
4. Ability to understand and communicate complex technical issues to a wide range of stakeholders
5. A strong track record of decision making and working to deadlines

We anticipate that the successful candidate will be appointed at a Grade J within the career grade to maintain a skills balance within the team.
