Job summary We are looking for a passionate HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist with a IBMS Specialist portfolio to join our small, busy, friendly team. You will help maintain and develop the excellent work of the Cellular Pathology department of delivering a high quality, efficient service. The department receives 1500 non-gynae cytology and 22000 histology specimens a year. We undertake all routine cellular pathology processes including BMS specimen dissection, embedding, microtomy, special stains, immunohistochemistry, non-gynae cytology, OSNA and Mohs. Main duties of the job The main laboratory is UKAS accredited to ISO 15189 standards. We are looking for someone who has a IBMS Specialist Portfolio/Diploma in Cellular Pathology to work in the main laboratory and dissection. The position is full-time, 37.5 hrs.
