We’re working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary practice that’s looking for a Design Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role and work across a diverse range of sectors including Formula 1, Life Sciences, Data Centres, and Automotive.\n\nWhether you come from an architectural or engineering background, if you’ve previously acted as a Lead Consultant or Project Architect on complex schemes, this could be the next step in your career.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\nDelivering professional design management across a range of multi-disciplinary projects.\n\nDefining design programmes, deliverables, and communication strategies.\n\nLeading internal and external design team meetings.\n\nSupporting project administration and reporting in collaboration with Lead Consultants.\n\nEnsuring quality assurance processes and client technical approvals are in place.\n\nHelping to establish teams and workflows that set projects up for long-term success.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\nExperience managing complex design projects as a Lead Consultant or similar.\n\nSolid understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work, with experience across pre- and post-contract stages.\n\nPrevious involvement in large-scale projects (architecture or engineering).\n\nComfortable using digital tools for managing the design process (e.g.
MS Excel, MS Project, document management systems).\n\nExperience with BIM deliverables and design programming is a bonus.\n\nKey Qualities We’re Looking For\n\nStrong leadership and communication skills.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage teams independently.\n\nA collaborative mindset with the flexibility to adapt across multiple sectors and project scales.\n\nAmbitious and proactive, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
