Job Description
A leading utility contractor is looking for an Assistant Buyer to support the operational buying requirements for a major power and utility projects, you will:
* Assist with operational buying of material and service requirements for a major utility projects.
* Ensure projects receive material orders to the required quality, cost and delivery expectations.
* Support operational teams with day to day challenges on contracts.
* Maximise the use of framework agreements to ensure savings and rebates are achieved.

Candidate Requirements
* Our client is looking for Procurement Admin or Assistant Buyers with 1+ years materials procurement experience from any contractor or subcontractor.
* You will have some materials procurement experience, with a track record of delivering internal stakeholder requirements for projects.
* You will have helped to deliver projects across infrastructure, construction or MEP for any reputable contractor.
