Description
The Role:
As a HR Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the HR function across the business. This is a generalist role, giving you exposure to a variety of HR responsibilities, including:
✅ Employee Relations - Advising managers on disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
✅ Recruitment & Onboarding - Supporting hiring managers and ensuring a smooth onboarding process
✅ HR Policies & Compliance - Keeping policies up to date and ensuring best practices are followed
✅ Training & Development - Helping to identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities
✅ HR Administration - Supporting with contracts, data management, and reporting
Profile
What We're Looking For:
🔹 HR generalist experience - ideally in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment
🔹 Strong employee relations experience
🔹 Good knowledge of UK employment law
🔹 Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
🔹 CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
