We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team at an innovative educational institution. As an Educational Psychologist (Grade 10/Soulbury M.G. 1 - 10), you will play a vital role in supporting the diverse needs of our student population. Your primary focus will be on assessing and addressing the psychological barriers to learning and facilitating the development of effective strategies to support students. You will work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure that each child's individual needs are met and that they can thrive in an educational setting. Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development.
Develop and implement effective intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers and support staff.
Provide training and support for staff on best practices in mental health and educational psychology.
Consult with parents and caregivers to address concerns regarding their child's development and learning.
Facilitate workshops and seminars to raise awareness of mental health issues within the educational community.
Collaborate with external agencies and mental health professionals to provide comprehensive support for students.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements
Master's degree in Educational Psychology or equivalent qualification.
Registered as an Educational Psychologist with relevant professional body.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and educators.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with educational psychology practices.
Hours Per Week: 36.00

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £375.65
