The HR Business Partner will lead a small HR team in supporting two academies in Brighton.
Key duties of the role include:
1. Supervising two staff
2. Partnering with Principals and schools' leaders and building relationships with key stakeholders
3. Providing appropriate advice and guidance to the Academies in line with Trust policies and best practice
4. Providing coaching and guidance to management dealing with complex ER cases
5. Maintaining administrative overview of key employment information including starters/leavers, benefits, payroll and the appraisal process
The successful HR Business Partner will be degree educated or equivalent (minimum CIPD Level 5) with established experience of working within a senior HR role in education. You will have a solid understanding of employment law and be effective in communicating across a diverse group of stakeholders. A good working knowledge of HR systems such as PeopleHR, SIMs or BromCom is desirable.
This role is a busy hands-on operational position and will be a working model of four days onsite and one day working from home, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year.
