We have an opportunity for an individual to join By the Bridge with Cambian in the role of Lead Education Advisor and Grow, Achieve, Learn Consultant (EAGAL) to work within the EAGAL Leadership Team to continue the development and delivery of our strategy for children and young people around education, participation and transition to independence preparation. The role of the Lead EAGAL is a fundamental to our strategy and vision. This role combines the responsibilities of an experienced Education Advisor alongside delivering the specialist Grow, Achieve, Learn independence award and leading a small team of Education Advisor, Grow, Achieve and Learn Consultants. This role is the perfect opportunity for an individual who thrives on working with children, young people and their foster families. You will, ideally have the experience, skills of working within an education advisor role or similar, along with the personality and drive to provide youth work, advocacy, event planning and facilitation, youth forums or similar. You will thrive on innovative thinking, participation and advocating for the child/young person’s voice; who wants the opportunity to assist us in further developing and improving our services to enhance the opportunities for children and young people who are either in or leaving the care of fostering families. Roles and Responsibilities Provide clear advice and guidance around education achievements and all areas of education for children and young people Providing advice and support to identify appropriate educational provisions and to advocate for young people when mainstream education provision may not be suitable.
