Digital Marketing Specialist – Affiliates
About the team
This role sits in the Affiliate team within the wider Performance Marketing team at Deliveroo. The team's main focus is driving growth, which could involve attracting new consumers, driving customer loyalty, finding new riders, or encouraging users to sign up for Plus (our loyalty subscription).
As a channel, Affiliates is growing rapidly. We are discovering new ways to communicate with our users as we add more markets. We collaborate closely with Creative Studio, Data Science, and Marketing Technology teams to deliver innovative digital campaigns across 8 markets. As the “Channel Specialist,” you will report to the “Head of Performance” and work together to drive forward the channel.
Working within this team allows you to operate under our hybrid working model - between London HQ and home.
About the role
We're looking for a commercially minded, data-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to drive growth in the Affiliate channel. You will work closely with all marketing channels to ensure timely delivery of plans and effective project management. Alongside the “Head of Performance,” you will be responsible for growing the affiliate channel globally and finding innovative ways to incentivize our consumers.
What you'll be doing
* Strategy Management: Create and manage channel strategy aligned with key company initiatives.
* Partner Management: Manage publisher and network relationships to maximize growth.
* Partner Screening: Conduct initial calls with new partner prospects to understand their offerings.
* Testing New Partnerships: Lead the rollout of new partnerships and collaborate with internal teams for execution.
* Campaign Planning: Deliver campaign planning and analysis for all markets.
* Platform Maintenance: Ensure our platforms are current and accurate.
* Advanced Reporting: Generate reports to analyze weekly trends and publisher performance.
* Internal Stakeholder Management: Update stakeholders on projects and pitch for further funding when necessary.
Requirements
* Degree-level education or relevant work experience.
* 4-6 years of experience in affiliates.
* Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to structure arguments effectively.
* Basic quantitative analytical skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ambitious with a commercial mindset.
* A willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
